I was lucky enough to catch Vic play his solo set at the Unsound party in Brixton after the London Garage show recently - it was exellent well done Vic!
It had to have been pretty nerve wracking playing after a load of Drum and Bass DJ's on solo guitar with banjo accumpaniment but everyone responded so well to Vic's tunes in the audience, it was a great way to round off a wicked weekend.
Vic seemed pretty amused by all the laughing gas that was being consumed at the party, i think he should've tried some, might have been inspirational!?
Anyone else catch this show?
The vid is great. Good to see you guys put N.O. in there...I was down there for a few months volunteering, seeing the houses in the vid brought me back to Gentilly for a minute. Keep that Crecent City spirit alive. See ya at the Maple Leaf!
Excelent Videos fella....very enjoyable.....nearly a week and the Slackers will be returning to thier home town of NYC....of the guys and gals from Kansas will be boarding an airplane and flying for hours to endure 2 nights of pure bliss......see ya then
A lot of fun to watch. Out of curiosity, how many Slackers videos have there been? The only ones I know of prior to International War Criminal were "Have the Time" and the animated "She Wants to be Alone". If they make a DVD they should include all the videos.
Solo Slackers and Laughing Gas.
