Hi everyone,
thanks for the support on the recent east coast gigs.
As we get ready for the next round of touring in canada and europe, I wanted to write to everyone about our latest release to be, "Lost & Found."
Lost & Found is a cd that I culled from our archives going back as far 1998. It includes rarities from back in the day, alternative versions of slacker's classics, and "new" songs that we just finished from basic rhythms that were not completed (it took 5 years for us to finish one of these tracks...that's slackin!)
So yeah, its a fun cd, new and old at the same time. But its all tracks that havent seen the light of day until right now! if you want to hear a blow by blow description of the tunes and hear a new mp3 go to www.myspace.com/theslackers
Lost & Found will first be available on our european tour that starts on october 15th. After Oct 21, it will be available for mail order in Europe on www.phonocaster.com and in the USA on www.interpunk.com. The Japan release should be on Disk Union before the end of the year I think. We are also working on a digital release through www.whatevski.org
Speaking of Whatevski.org, we are going to be putting out another live show shortly, The Slackers live at Slackfest 2009. In the meantime, check out our download of the 2009 booze cruise. 25 songs for 5 bucks! You cant beat that!
see you out there.
