Melkweg request
Some Melkweg requests of my own:
Exploitation Dub
Peculiar
Old Dog
Wanted Dead or Alive (I know, not gonna happen)
Funk Week, or El Gato (or anything else off the Boss Harmony CD)
... and is there any chance of ending with "Enjoy yourself"? :)
Bristol
Hey Slackers!
I live in germany but as you're not going to germany on this tour, I'm gonna be at your Bristol gig. I like England and I like The Slackers so this is gonna be perfect!
I'd really love to hear 'Make me Smile' as it's one of my favourite songs and I don't think I've ever heard it live. Well that's all. See you there!
Thanks!
Whether it was due to my request or by coincidence: Thank you so much for playing 'Make me Smile'! The whole show was awesome anyway.
But more importantly: One of the new songs really blew me away. That one you made to keep up with that nifty, ever-charting MC Hammer, you know? When you started playing it, I could see expressions on people's faces telling me things like 'This is different!' or 'Wait! Is this The Slackers?' but all of these expressions turned into huge smiles. Slackers, you've surprised me and it turned out awesome!
When I was at the Melkweg
When I was at the Melkweg they played Wasted Days. Thanks for that Slackers! Don't know if it's coincindence or not.
At Spaz:
What did the new song sound like? Kinda like a soul song or was it something completely different? I'm curious They played a soul song at the Melkweg. Good stuff.
Soul
It was a soul-like tune. We probably mean the same song.
