Dave Fuentes Passing...

I must join The Slackers in extending my warmest regards to the family of David Fuentes, both immediate,extended and musical. I had the privilege to see David play with both Hepcat and Dubcat and will agree with Marcus when I say that his bass playing was incredible. His style was elegant, deeply groovy, and always classy. Cheers to you Dave wherever you are - the musical community has lost one of the great ones.

I feel so self centered when

I feel so self centered when musicians i love die, living so far away, i never get to see any of them perform, and it always hits just a little harder when i realise i will never see favourite artists of mine play live.

but i guess that it probably isn't so selfish, and its just my way of saying they'll be missed... even from the other side of the world.
