I first heard that song when i got to listen to a slackers sound check almost two years ago. Me and my friend had gotten to the club really early and they had the front door open so we could hear everything. I fell in love with that song from that second, and learned the words to the chorus long before peculiar came out. I'm psyched that peculiar came out so now I have a recording of that song.

Dave's friend I think can connect somewhere with most people... funny, I never liked it much till recently, of late I think it has been my favourite slackers song.

im sure everyone will agree the slackers have something pretty special going on. the music they write is the music insde my head, the soundtrack to my life, and i know im gonna play it to my grand children, play them at my funeral. they have remained my favourite band throughout my whole adolescence and into womanhood. i cant believe sometimes what a profound effect they have had and continue to have on me. i dont even know these guys! i grew up on a little island a million miles away from new york and yet somehow i feel closer to the essence of the slackers than i do to my own parents!! i know im not crazy, just passionate and resolute about this. write a comment back if u undersand where i'm coming from!? xx charlet

I just want to let you guys know, that song is wonderful!! My best friend[whos a big slack fan] is in jail for some dumb shit. Everytime I listen to that song it helps me think of him and reminds me that he will be released, and everythings going to be alright! I wish he could here it, but I'm not aloud to send him cd's.
I was wondering if you could send me the tab w/ lyrics to the song? That way I could write it down, and send it to him. I sent him a guitar, so he would be able to play it and sing it , and be able to here the song. I think it would help him out. Hopfully someone could do that for me. Thanks
