GIVE RESPECT when Taking pictures!!

For all Photographers out there! I am a photographer who regularly takes Slacker Shots. I have noticed recently a lack of Respect for musicians with amateur photographers. I was at the philly Show this Friday, and I was totally PISSED When Some Idiot is on the Stage floor and crawling around to get a photo for like 20 minutes! Give the Slackers some Room and Respect to put on a Show!! The slackers are always so willing to accept photographers and video; but this draws a line.. When you Interrupt or get in the slackers way just to get and a shot... That is TOTALLY disrepectful to all Professional Photographers, Musicians and Fans worldwide! I was also at The Lee Scratch Perry Show at CBGB's where some guy lays his point and shoot camera on Larry Mcdonalds Drum to take a picture! During the SHOW!! HOW DISRESPECTFUL CAN YOU GET!! These guys go out of their way, to practice, put on a show, and tour around the world for their fans.. Show Respect !! If you cant get the shot from where you are standing, move!.. DONT GET ON STAGE! you are not a slacker! NO one came to the Show to see some idiot take some lame camera phone shots.. ALL you stage hoggers with no respect are giving everyone who wants to take pictures a Bad Name!
If i see any of those shots from that guy from philly; I want a word with him !!!! . They will be from the angle 2 inches away from Vic's crotch .....
The Slackers put on a killer Show that nite while stepping around this guy!! They played a couple new songs including a new one by Marcus! " Everyday is Sunday" .. look out for it!
Much Love to The Slackers and What they do for their fans,

kinda along the same lines...about respect

We were recording in Ithaca and some dude, obviously drunk or oblivious, sways into the mic stand. He looks up, sees what he did, and actually pokes at the mic and laughs. I'm like WTF. Serously? Where in your head did you think it would be cool to poke a thousand dollar mic? or any mic for that matter? Luckliy, it was during BTMI...so I don't care that much. lol

i agree.the slackers are

i agree.the slackers are awesome at allowing fans to document their shows..i have taken pics of them before and will do it again at the up coming south florida shows this week...i will always have mad rAspect for the crew and thier enviroment...and people should be consentrating on SKANKING!, not takeing a photos.. Word

Well I'm not diggin the capitalization and the insane use of exclamation marks cause like you will be heard even if you don't capitalize letters - but I concur. I like to take pics at shows too but I behave like I would in a zoo, you know? Like... never enter the cage ;o)

true dat

I get awful tired of dudes bumpin me to get their pictures. And that dude in philly was especially annoying...but it did look like the pics were good. There was this drunk dude up in Brooklyn at the hook that kept bumpin into my pregnant fiance...I asked him nice once to watch it, nicely a second time then almost kicked him in the nuts the thrid time! funkin fat ass wisky head!
