slackers on classsic rock radio?

slackers on classsic rock radio?

By vic

i heard we got played on little steven's underground garage show last night (sun.mar 12)...is this true?

I just looked over the

I just looked over the playlist on his site and sorry to say it's does not look like it was so.

bob dylan vs Vic

hey i saw Bob Dylan play in Germany a couple days ago... Oh wait, I meant Vic.....
does anyone notice the simliarity between their songs? I couldve sworn i was in greenwich village in the 60's! I saw vic play about years or 2 ago, and then last week and hes becoming more and more like Bob Dylan. what happened to his funny stage acts? What happened to the original voice of Mr Vic Rugggiero? He sounds more like Bob than Vic now.. Its weird how people change only after a couple years.. mmy girl said the same thing.. any word from the slack fans know about mr dylan reinventing himself as vic?

No kidding

That song "I Shall Be Released" sounds like it could be a Dylan song.

Released....

Music History Lesson.....I Shall Be Released is sung by The Band which um includes Bob Dylan....

SKAnsas Rudeboy

Duh

It was a joke.

I shall be released

is credited as a Bob Dylan song
it's been covered by everyone from Deep Purple to Nina Simone to Eric Clapton. I highly recommend a recent cover by Chatham County Line.

'I shall be released' covers

The Heptones did a great version for Coxsone. Jacob Miller sang it too in 1978, ina Rockers style.
Paul Weller's one is simply superb.
L.

Dylan wrote it...

Didn't Dylan write/play it with them originally on The Basement Tapes at Big Pink?

dylan

Is like 50 million years old and has overdosed on nitrates from bat guano in his weed. I've never seen vic do that. And besides, do you think every show is gonna be the same? I hope not, dass ist keine guttes unterhaltung...or something. I've seen dylan lately (not by choice either!!!!) and he mostly plays the piano/keys. Last time I saw vic he played the guitar. Plus, if dylan was more like vic he would be more easily understood by the listener.

...like holding a wolf by the ears.

the 60's dylan

havent you ever seen footage of dylan in the 60's.. Vic is the bob dylan from1966. dont you get it when someone make a similarity refernce, doesnt mean to take that reference LITERALLY.. all im saying is that, Vic is Bob Dylan of 2006... Well he wants to be, or itjust happened that way. Nonetheless, Bob Dylan Rocks, and so does VIC.. Its nice to see they covered A Dylan tune too.. At least the slackers know the irony of it.. i think its hilarious.. and bob dylan plays a guitar and a harmonica.. so does vic... they also both play a piano... they also both like acoustic sets...... they both mumble about being a new york city rat... do you see the similarities???? go out and buy a live album of dylan from the 60's, and then go see vic again.. i dare to say, i told you so..
