MORE THANKS FROM VIC

By vic

i wanna thank all the folks for coming out on this first push for the peculiar record. Boston,Toronto, Montreal, the CBGB shows in ny,and so many other nights... this was an incredible time and i wanna let everybody know how much we appreciate the folks at the gigs. playing for such good folks makes us play so much better,i'm thankful for the good vibes...vic

I wasn't planning on it, but

I wasn't planning on it, but I bought the new record after giving it a test drive on iTunes. This is some fantastic work. Everything is so tight and seamless, and you somehow managed to create a diverse set of songs that are beautifully unified by the now-well-defined Slackers style. Never thought I'd say it, but I sure do miss Q's vocals. However, the CD is definitely not lacking without them, and Alex Desert is always amazing. Well done. You should all be quite proud of yourselves for this one.

yo!

vic- it's sonny from outernational. been wanting to get in touch with you so thought i'd hit you up on the blog. glad to hear the album tour is going well. i intended to be at the fri CBs show but too many conflicts arose with band stuff and we left the next morning for MA, and our van broke down on the way up. good stuff....
the album is great by the way, picked it up a few weeks ago and enjoying it.

Re:MORE THANS FROM VIC

Hey - you guys'll get a warm welcome in manchester, its not often that any ska bands play around yorkshire, so hopefully theres gonna be some good, good vibrations down at Jillys. Baby Boom should be awesome too..

Thank you guys

You guys seem to get better every time I see you. I'm so happy I got to see you guys 4 times in a row (Cambridge, Providence, CBGBs both nights). Those sets were increddible, and I cant think of any other band that would be that much fun to follow for that many days. I hope you come back to Boston soon, cuz I will definitely be there.
